Hi,
Just a quick tech question on the MP3 player counter.
History, my band is in a UK based music competition which is centred around the MP3 player on competition orgainsers myspace site. After a week the band with the highest number of plays is the winner. Simple really.
However, what we have found is that the player counter seems to jump irregulary, ie we were at 1000 plays one evening the next morning 2000 plays. Great, however the organisers have nicely told us they think this is an error and have removed votes.
My question is how does the counter work and does it cache results?
