My Poqbum player doesn't work at all

ok player works now, but I am trying to add another playlist and it will not let me go to page 3 or page 4 of the mini players.

My players are not working on my blog site or my space site. What is going on? Could you at least post a message regarding your being down or whatever is going on? I have had this happen a lot. So far it has been down for at least 2 days. Please, tell us all what is going on....

i'm having the same problems. i had two players on my page but they stopped working. this has been happening for a long time now and poqbum seems to be doing nothing about it. i'm already thinking about just leaving poqbum behind and find me a new player that is reliable. they don't seem to even respond to our problems here. not only that but i can't even log in my username and password. i'm putting in the correct username and password but it keeps saying i put in the wrong PW. i've tried getting a new pw by email but i keep getting an error message. i'm going to find a new player soon. but i'll keep my eye on this place if poqbum finally get things working right again.

A message concerning the mp3 players not working would be nice. If I can post a message here, surely someone from customer support can type a message concerning the mp3 players.

HI all hope I am posting right as I am new here!

It seems alot of us are having the same problem! I know the site has been down over the past few days & now it seems to be up as my player is on my pg & playing but I want to change the music & I come to the site to do this but I am frustrated I don't get any farther than selecting my skin & style then I click on continue it brings back the login & password pg I can not get any further tried many many times! but the site keeps telling me to log in! I do so go back through until I select the skin I want then the same login pg comes back up GRRR many times I don't make it to the selection of skins before this log in pg comes up! I have tried just using anonymous user withgout loging in also, the same thing happens! Is anyone else havin this problem? and when will this be fixed? It has been like this for atleast a week or longer!

What I have noticed is everytime they change the code, upload more templates, or add banners or something this happens. the other day all my playlists defaulted to 2pac and Jayz. now all my old playlists are working but now the new playlists has been replaced with my chemical romance. they are updateing something. however the rule of thumb has always been if it aint broke dont fix it. :cool:

Yeah, something happened to me really weird. I edit my playlist. It comes out so good! I put it on my profile.. A few minutes later, I check out my profile and it is back to the way I had it before I edited it. So then I gotta edit it again!!!:p

Hello all,

I was finally happy to see that my MP3 was working again.
However, I juste received a message (voice message) when I connected to my blog where is located my POQbum MP3.
It was saying that snapDrive no longer would accept to store music for other sites and generate direct mp3 !!!

Please help !! where is it possible to store our music so that POQbum MP3 can work ? Because, I really like the MP3 skin and POQbum system, not the snapDrive, as it is now (only one model :p)

It seems the whole sub-domain 'player.poqbum.com' is down.

I first thought it might have been just me. Yesterday my playlist was replaced (I suspect by the admins as there may have been some downage and they didn't want their users w/out a playlist) - but can't be sure.

In any event there appears to be an intermittent sub-site issue. I hope they fix it soon because they rock :(

Hi there guys!

I'm very sorry about this, snapdrive.net pulled a fast one on us.. They deleted all of your songs and replaced it with an advert to their own 'new player generator'. Login to your snapdrive account and check it out for yourself, all of your 3 minute rock songs have been changed to a 8 second clip telling you to create a player at snapdrive..

When this happened it messed up our system and all the playlists were wiped out.

Good news, during this downtime, we've upgraded the section, and it's now up and running, and very stable. You will have no slowups or downtime, I guarantee.
We've made arrangements with another site (uploadingit.com) and that site provides alot more than snapdrive did.

Now http://player.poqbum.com is up and running, if any of you have any problems, please post it here so we can fix it.

Sorry about your lost songs and playlist, there's really nothing I can do :/

Anyhow, back to business, we'll be adding more player skins in a few weeks, so check back.

We will also be opening a request forum for custom player skins, so keep checking back.

Also, some answers to some of your previous concerns.

- I can't login to my account / or my player isn't working
Answer: This is because our database is overloaded (this was a problem in the past, we upgraded so we now have twice the capicity)

- My player won't update
Answer: you need to copy and paste the new code onto your profile, it has a different playlist number generated, and your old one is..well..old.

And no, your player will not get screwed up because you give out the code ;)

Um I know everyone has been having problems but at this point I dont know if its my player or maybe myspace. When I copy and paste the code it works on the page, but the when I put it on my profile it doesn't work. Is it still related to the current problems your trying to fix, or is it maybe myspace having problems with flash? Every time I change the http://player... to http//player.bum-files.com/ and save my profile, the changes don't take effect and the code goes back to http://player...

Is there a solution?

I've changed it from http://player... to http://files.bum-files.com and http://www.bum-files to both areas as told by the important instructions. I get no player at all. With http://player.myspace-player.com and http://www.myspace-player.com, I finally get the player without my list of songs...please advise.

I'm having the same problem as Fantazma800, after editing the code appropriately the player shows up in it's minimized form and reads undefined where track titles are suppose to be.

Well, the problem is that your not changing your playlist url.
For this to work, you need to change 3 URL's.

One is the .swf (player URL)
one is the .xml (playlist URL)
one is the link (link back to site URL)

Please find the other player... text in your player code and change it accordingly.

Now excuse me for being dumb, but if we have created a new player (which I did) why hasn't the technicians just sorted out the code when the new player is created to just work , i.e. as it used to, why should we create a new player and get the new code and still have to edit the new code to work, because what with all the advice I still have no music in my player, and for all the advice given I have followed it as stated only thing is I am then told I haven't done it properly, when all I have done is followed instructions, or as in one case cut and pasted the code given to me by the administrator, it's easier to accuse me that I have done something wrong than to admit that even the new code given doesn't work either...when realistically all this can be avoided when the new player is created that it obtains/contains the correct code from the start

So I have created a new account. Uploaded new songs into uploadingit.com and another host site called hotlinks something but my player still does not work. What's up with that? It's very frustrating and I know everyone else feels the same. The POQBUM administrator seems to say the same thing. Create a new account, change the playlist url blah blah blah. Same delios. I've changed everything that u said needed 2 be changed, hosted my music on hotlinkfiles, got the code, and stuff. I test it out on poqbum n it played all my songs, then when I went 2 c it on myspace it only played one song. All the other song titles show up, but it doesn't play. On my 2nd play list none of the songs work. Could u tell me what I'm doing wrong? Its getting really frustrating 2 re-do it over 3 times. Thank you for ur time.

Yes, I know it's really frusterating. We're planning on starting up our own hosting site, and combine both the player generator and the hosting site together.

As for your other questions, the code generated should work great, as long as you do it through
http://player.myspace-player.com
and not
http://player.poqbum.com

If everything works great, but your songs just don't play. Than that's a problem with your filehost.
uploadingit.com is down :(
hotlinkfiles.com isn't the best -- slow, but it works.
if it doesn't work with hotlinkfiles.com, then you've typed it in wrong..

I know this is all confusing, but we're working hard trying to make it easier.

My player works fine, and it has been working great for weeks now without any problems whatsoever, which is incredible.

I'd like thank POQbum.com for making all the necessary fixes because of all the mp3 flash player sites, I LOVE POQbum the BEST! ;)

However, I'd like to re-ask a question I posted on another thread. Can anyone tell me why my player shows "NaN% Loaded" BUT all my songs play fine?
